Philipp Schauer specialises in domestic and cross-border dispute resolution, with a strong focus on international arbitration and litigation. He has advised clients in proceedings governed by a range of substantive and procedural laws from both common law and civil law traditions. His experience spans arbitrations conducted under the rules of leading arbitration institutions, including the ICC, LCIA, and FAI.

Since joining PARAGON in 2023 during his studies in economics and law, Philipp Schauer also served as a law clerk at the Vienna Higher Regional Court (OLG Wien) and the Commercial Court of Vienna.

Philipp Schauer holds both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in economics and law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. During his studies, he participated in several moot court competitions, including the Willem C. Vis International Arbitration Moot in 2024/25, where his team advanced to the semifinals, finished as Second Runner-Up (Top 3) out of 384 teams, and received several awards for their written submissions.
