David von der Thannen joins PARAGON
We are very happy to welcome David von der Thannen to the PARAGON Team!
David has consistently distinguished himself as a top-performer throughout his academic and professional journey. He graduated second in a class of 616 from the University of Vienna’s law program, and went on to earn his LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where he was awarded the Addison Brown Prize for the year’s best contribution to private international law. At Harvard, he also served as Vice President of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association and held editorial and leadership roles with the Journal of Law & Technology, the Harvard Negotiation Law Review, and the Harvard Antitrust Association. As head coach of the University of Vienna’s Willem C. Vis Moot Court team, David led his students to a historic first-place finish in 2023 and second place in 2024. Before joining PARAGON, he has served as a research fellow and Ph.D. scholar at the University of Vienna’s Department of Civil Procedure Law and has passed the New York Bar Exam.
