Brian Gabriel-Oiwoh specialises in international dispute resolution, including international commercial and investment arbitration and mediation. He has advised and represented clients in numerous complex and high-stakes arbitrations under major arbitration rules (including the Vienna, ICC, LCIA, ICAC, ICSID and UNCITRAL Rules).

Brian Gabriel-Oiwoh has particular experience in disputes arising from M&A transactions and joint ventures, with a focus on the energy, commercial, telecommunications, and major projects sectors. He has also advised on arbitration-related issues in the drafting of articles of association and private foundation deeds.

Prior to joining Paragon, he worked for two internationally renowned law firms in Vienna.

Brian Gabriel-Oiwoh has published on a wide range of practical topics and areas of law, including controversial issues in arbitration, corporate law, and international law. He has also given workshops on arbitration law at various European universities.

He studied law in Austria (University of Graz) and the UK (University of Edinburgh) and received several merit-based scholarships. At present, he is studying mediation and dispute resolution (Sigmund Freud University Vienna). He is admitted to the Austrian Bar.
