Hugo Starzer focuses his practice on international arbitration and litigation. He has advised and represented clients in arbitrations under various institutional rules as well as before state courts, focusing on engineering & construction disputes and technology-related cases. He also advises on various issues of commercial law such as IP-Law.

Prior to joining Paragon, Hugo Starzer gained work experience as a legal trainee within the arbitration team of an international law firm in Vienna, as a judicial clerk at the Higher Regional Court in Vienna, and as an intern in the finance department of a global pharmaceutical company also based in Vienna.

He studied law in Austria (University of Vienna) and is in the process of completing his Bachelor of Science degree in Artificial Intelligence (Johannes Kepler University Linz). Beyond his legal knowledge, Hugo Starzer has a broad technical knowledge in the field of IT, particularly in data science, and is proficient in Python and SQL.
