Katharina Hoffmann specializes in domestic and cross-border dispute resolution, with a strong focus on international arbitration and litigation. She has represented clients in proceedings governed by a range of substantive and procedural laws from both common law and civil law traditions. Her experience includes arbitrations conducted under the rules of leading arbitration institutions, including the LCIA, VIAC, and ICC.
Prior to joining PARAGON, Katharina Hoffmann gained experience at several prominent international law firms in Vienna, where she developed a broad legal foundation across M&A, intellectual property, data protection, and criminal law. She draws on this diverse background to deliver strategic and efficient dispute resolution advice. Katharina Hoffmann also served as a law clerk at the Vienna Higher Regional Court (OLG Wien), including the Public Prosecutor's Office and the Vienna Regional Court for Civil Matters.
She has contributed to a several publications on dispute resolution and has lectured on international negotiations and the CISG at Queensland University of Technology in Australia.
Katharina Hoffmann holds both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in economics and law from the Vienna University of Economics and Business and Queensland University of Technology. During her studies, she participated in the William C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, where her team received multiple honours. She further deepened her expertise in cryptocurrency and blockchain law through a specialized advanced legal education program.
She advises clients in both English and German.
