Marion Novak specializes in international arbitration and litigation. She has represented clients in cross-border cases governed by various substantive and procedural laws. Her experience includes arbitration proceedings conducted under several institutional rules, including the Vienna Rules, the ICC Rules, and CAS Code.

Prior to joining Paragon, Marion Novak gained experience as a legal trainee in the dispute resolution, corporate and M&A departments of several international law firms in Vienna. She was also a judicial clerk at the Higher Regional Court in Vienna and an intern at the Austrian Chamber of Commerce in Istanbul.

She is a member of several international arbitration associations and has served as Vice-President of ELSA WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien).

Marion Novak studied law in Austria (Vienna University of Economics and Business) and in Hong Kong (City University of Hong Kong) and participated in summer law schools in Portugal and Estonia. She received several merit-based scholarships and was ranked among the top 10 students of her year. She is an alumna of the WU Center of Excellence as well as of the WU Top League (an honours program for exceptional students), where she also served as a tutor. In addition to her law degree, she has completed a BSc in business administration in Austria (Vienna University of Economics and Business), specialising in international business as well as strategy and organisation.
